June 08, 2013 Sudan’s President Omar al-Bashir has ordered the stoppage of oil transfers through its territory from South Sudan from Sunday, state media report. Oil only started flowing again in April after the two sides struck a deal. June 06, 2013 Kinder Morgan Energy Partners announced May 31 it canceled plans for a crude oil pipeline project designed to run from Texas to California. According to The Associated Press, Kinder Morgan canceled the Freedom pipeline project, consisting of a mix of converted natural gas pipelines and new construction, because there weren’t enough refineries interested in the project.
