Aug 26, 2013 Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plan Group (ChelPipe) which is one of the largest companies manufacturing pipe products in Russia, completed a shipment of large diameter pipes for the construction of the third stage of the Central Asia-China gas pipeline. The pipeline started operating in 2009 and is intended to supply Turkmen gas to China through Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Currently work is being conducted to increase the pipeline’s strength.
