Proposed EPIC 730-mile pipeline project would be largest for Texas in the decade

A trio of companies hope to build a 730-mile-long crude oil and condensate pipeline from West Texas to Corpus Christi. The so-called Epic pipeline would have a maximum capacity of 440,000 barrels per day of crude oil and condensates, a form of ultralight crude oil. Enbridge and Spectra about to close on merger

The Canadian pipeline company Enbridge said that it close its acquisition of Houston-based Spectra Energy next week after clearing all regulatory hurdles. Enbridge said it received approval of Canadian Competition Bureau and will complete the $28 billion merger Monday. The merger was earlier approved the Federal Trade Commission in the United States. Partial sale of Dakota Access Pipeline completed after construction resumes

Dallas-based Energy Transfer Partners completed a $2 billion sale of stakes in the controversial Dakota Access Pipeline, which restarted construction this week after receiving regulatory approval from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Plains and Noble agree on a Joint venture to buy Permian Basin pipeline

Plains All American Pipeline and Noble Midstream Partners have formed a 50/50 joint venture (JV) to acquire Advantage Pipeline which owns a 70-mile, 16-inch crude oil pipeline located in the southern Delaware Basin. Pakistan will begin working this month on the protracted $10 billion Tapi gas pipeline project stretching over four Asian countries as the operating consortium awarded the project management consultant (PMC) contract to German firm ILF.
