Iran and Belgium are planning to have a FLNG vessel at Iran

The gas rich nation has signed multiple agreements with foreign shipbuilders to construct LNG tankers as the country pushes to join the club of LNG exporters. The government officials have on various occasions stated that lot of large foreign energy companies have shown interest in developing LNG projects in the country. Iran plans to build a capacity for exports of 40 million tons a year of LNG.
