GAIL begins construction of stalled Kochi-Mangaluru pipeline

New Delhi: State-owned gas utility GAIL India Ltd Wednesday said it has begun construction work on its long- delayed Kerala stretch of the Kochi-Koottanad-Mangaluru- Bengaluru gas pipeline project.

The project, which had been stalled due to land acquisition problems, will cost Rs 3,263 crore.
